Dracaena Marginata

Dracaena Marginata has proven to be one of the best suited plants for indoor growing.
It grows equally well near a window with lots of light as it does in the less well-lit corners of the house.
Its easy cultivation, colorful, fine foliage and size make this dracaena a truly decorative plant and perfect as an indoor ornament.
In addition, it is one of the plants that, according to a NASA study, is one of the best for cleaning the air in the home.

Description

Indications of maintenance for the Dracaena Marginata: Light: To promote its development, it is essential that it is in a luminous space although we will always have to avoid that it receives direct light, since its leaves could burn.
In spite of this and curiously, we could also include it among our list of indoor plants with low light.
Although it is not the ideal scenario, it tolerates less illuminated spaces.
How will this affect it?
By slowing its growth a little more.
Watering: The secret of this plant lies in not watering it excessively, as it does not need much water.
If we have the soil always wet, the plant accumulates excessive water in its roots, these drown and end up rotting.
Temperature: It does not tolerate low temperatures.
Below 14 ºC the plant suffers.
Its optimum development is with high temperatures, between 22 and 26 ºC.
Fetilization: For our Dracaena to grow and maintain its color, it needs a specific substrate for green plants.
