Description
Euphorbia trigona, belonging to the Euphorbiaceae family and native to southwest Africa, is also known as Milk Plant, Crown and African Milk Tree.
It is a succulent plant with a branched columnar habit that, with time, can reach heights of 3-4 meters and become shrubby. Characteristics:
- Watering: As a succulent, Euphorbia trigona does not require a large amount of water.
Watering should be done only when the substrate is completely dry to avoid excess moisture that could rot its roots. - Light: Accustomed to living in sunny and warm areas, it needs a lot of light for optimal development.
However, direct sun exposure can cause stains and burns on its leaves. - Temperatures: It does not tolerate the cold well, preferring warm environments with temperatures between 20 and 28 degrees.
- Substrate: It requires a specific substrate for succulents that is light and allows good drainage, thus avoiding root rot.
Ideal for those looking for a hardy, exotic plant to add a distinctive touch to their home or garden.
